Common use of Recall from Vacation Leave With Pay Clause in Contracts

Recall from Vacation Leave With Pay. a) The Employer shall make every reasonable effort not to recall an employee to duty after he/she has proceeded on vacation leave with pay. b) Where, during any period of vacation leave with pay, an employee is recalled to duty, he/she shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses, as normally defined by the Employer, that he incurs: (i) in proceeding to his/her place of duty, and (ii) in returning to the place from which he/she was recalled if he/she immediately resumes vacation upon completing the assignment for which he/she was recalled, (iii) such expenses shall include any non-refundable deposit that the employee may have lost in consequence of his/her having been recalled to duty, c) The employee shall not be considered as being on vacation leave with pay during any period in respect of which he/she is entitled under sub-clause 17.08 b) to be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred by him/her.

(a) The Employer shall make every reasonable effort not to recall assign available officers in such a manner that an employee to duty after he/she has proceeded officer who is on vacation leave with payis not recalled to duty. (b) Where, When during any period of vacation leave with payor combination of vacation and compensatory leave, an employee officer is recalled to duty, he/she shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses, as normally defined by the Employer, that he he/she incurs: (i) in proceeding to his/her place of duty, and (ii) in returning to the place from which he/she was recalled if he/she immediately resumes vacation upon completing the assignment for which he/she was recalled,, after submitting such accounts as are normally required by the Employer. (iii) such expenses shall include any non-refundable deposit that the employee may have lost in consequence of his/her having been recalled to duty, c) The employee officer shall not be considered as being on vacation leave with pay or a combination of vacation and compensatory leave during any period in respect of which he/she is entitled under sub-clause 17.08 b20.11(b) to be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred by him/herthe officer.
