Recall from Vacation Leave With Pay. a) The Employer shall make every reasonable effort not to recall an employee to duty after he/she has proceeded on vacation leave with pay. b) Where, during any period of vacation leave with pay, an employee is recalled to duty, he/she shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses, as normally defined by the Employer, that he incurs: (i) in proceeding to his/her place of duty, and (ii) in returning to the place from which he/she was recalled if he/she immediately resumes vacation upon completing the assignment for which he/she was recalled, (iii) such expenses shall include any non-refundable deposit that the employee may have lost in consequence of his/her having been recalled to duty, c) The employee shall not be considered as being on vacation leave with pay during any period in respect of which he/she is entitled under sub-clause 17.08 b) to be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred by him/her.
