Full time employees who commence work after January 1st will have their lieu hours banked prorated at a rate of 12 hours per holiday remaining in the year. In the event the employee takes excess days, the Company will recover the excess time taken from the Employee’s pay.   • Statutory Holiday All time worked on such Statutory Holidays as are provided for in this Agreement shall be considered as overtime and shall be paid at two hundred percent (200%) of the employee's regular straight-time rate, or the employee may elect to be paid straight-time rates for the overtime hours and take an equal number of hours as time off. Such time off must be taken according to a schedule acceptable to the employee's Supervisor within thirty (30) days of the end of the pay period in which the overtime was worked.

  • Statutory Holiday Pay Employees who qualify for statutory holiday pay shall be paid an average day's pay on the Statutory Holidays above, based on the following: amount paid / days worked. “Amount paid” is the amount earned by the employee for work done during the thirty (30) calendars day period preceding the statutory holiday, including vacation pay but excluding overtime pay. “Days worked” is the number of days the employee worked or earned wages during that thirty (30) calendar day period.

  • Designated Holidays A part-time employee shall not be paid for the designated holidays but shall, instead be paid a premium of four and one-quarter (4.25%) per cent for all straight-time hours during the period of part-time employment.

  • Federal Holidays The Employee shall be entitled to federal holidays per calendar year. This is subject to change by the Employer from time to time. If for any reason the Employee should request a Federal Holiday off, the Employer shall determine if the Employee may do so and if it shall be taken from either the Employee’s Personal Leave or Vacation Time. Federal Holidays are determined by the Employer and may change every calendar year.

  • Worked Holidays Employees who are required to work on the above-named holidays shall receive the pay due them for the holiday, plus double their base rate for all hours worked on such holiday, plus shift differential if applicable, unless the employee starts to work at 10:00 P.M., or thereafter on that day.

  • STATUTORY HOLIDAYS AND VACATIONS If statutory holidays, to which an employee is entitled with pay, occur within his or her vacation period, the employee shall be granted an additional day's vacation for each in lieu thereof.
