The recognised public holidays are:- • New Year’s Day; • Australia Day; • Good Friday; • Easter Monday; • ANZAC Day; • May Day or Labor Day; • Queen’s Birthday; • Show Day or Easter Tuesday; • Christmas Day; • Boxing Day; or • any other day observed by the public in the particular region in lieu of one of the above days, and • all other public holidays gazetted for the particular region.
