Recognition of Previous Experience. 15.01 Salary recognition shall be granted for work experience satisfactory to the Employer, (including experience in the private sector) provided not more than five (5) years have elapsed since such experience was obtained as outlined in the following guidelines. For regulated professions, the Employer may recognize work experience notwithstanding a break in service of more than five (5) years if the employee has fulfilled the licensing requirements of the employee’s professional body to maintain standing in that profession.
