Records of Reimbursable Expenses. Accurate and detailed records of the Design Consultant’s Reimbursable Expenses pertaining to the Project shall be maintained in an orderly manner on the basis of generally accepted accounting practices and shall be available at the Design Consultant’s office (or at the City’s request, shall be brought by the Design Consultant to the Site) for inspection, auditing and/or copying by the City and its representatives upon reasonable notice during the business hours throughout the term of this Agreement and for a period of three (3) years thereafter. If the City’s examination of such records discloses an overcharge, the Design Consultant shall promptly refund such overcharge, together with the costs to the City of any necessary audit of the Design Consultant’s books and records.
