Redundancy by Work Area Sample Clauses

Redundancy by Work Area. Where the Company determines that it needs to reduce the overall numbers in a designated work area (a “Work Assessment Group”) then it will not be possible to identify a specific individual whose job has disappeared. In this event the Company will apply a process to assess the group of employees against pre-determined criteria to identify those least suitable for the job. At the conclusion of the assessment exercise the Company will have a ranking of employees and will have determined the number at the bottom of the list that will be made redundant. The Company has developed a KSA process to assess employees’ Knowledge, Skills and Attributes. This process is outlined in Attachment 2 to this Appendix. A Final Review/Appeals Process for the KSA process is outlined in Attachment 3 to this Appendix.
