Reemployment or Other Employment After Reduction in Force. 7.1 Recall--For one calendar year after the effective date of nonreemployment (or dismissal) due to a reduction in force, the board of education shall not fill the specific position previously held by a teacher who was nonreemployed (or dismissed) due to a reduction in force without first offering such position to the nonreemployed (or dismissed) teacher.

For two school years after the effective date of nonreemployment due to reduction in force, the Board of Education shall offer any position which becomes available to the nonreemployed teacher for which the nonreemployed teacher is qualified to teach by certification. If more than one nonreemployed teacher is both certified and qualified for a position which becomes available, the Board, shall offer the position to nonreemployed teachers in reverse order of nonreemployment. If two (2) or more teachers nonreemployed at the same time qualify for a position which becomes available, the position shall be offered to the teachers in reverse order of the application of the criteria used to identify teachers selected for nonreemployment.

  • Re-employment After Retirement Employees who have reached retirement age as prescribed under the Pension (Municipal) Act and continue in the Employer's service, or are re-engaged within three (3) calendar months of retirement, shall continue at their former increment step in the pay rate structure of the classification in which they are employed, and the employee's previous anniversary date shall be maintained. All perquisites earned up to the date of retirement shall be continued or reinstated.

  • Re-employment After Voluntary Termination or Dismissal for Cause Where an employee voluntarily leaves the Employer's service, or is dismissed for cause and is later re-engaged, seniority and all perquisites shall date only from the time of re-employment, according to regulations applying to new employees.

  • Outside Employment Employees may engage in other employment outside of their State working hours so long as the outside employment does not involve a conflict of interest with their State employment. Whenever it appears that any such outside employment might constitute a conflict of interest, the employee is expected to consult with his/her appointing authority or other appropriate agency representative prior to engaging in such outside employment. Employees of agencies where there are established procedures concerning outside employment for the purpose of insuring compliance with specific statutory restrictions on outside employment are expected to comply with such procedures.
