Refusal to Provide Urine Specimen. Members who refuse to be tested when so required will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including discharge. Attempts by a member to alter or substitute any specimen will be deemed grounds for disciplinary action. In such instances, Internal Affairs will be requested to conduct an administrative investigation, including another drug test. Note: Failure to provide a specimen within a reasonable period of time (usually not more than three (3) hours) may constitute a refusal to take a drug test.
