Medical Review Sample Clauses

Medical Review. The Employer reserves the right to require any employee who is on a medical leave of absence due to an illness or injury beyond thirty (30) days to be assessed by a Medical Review Officer regarding the employee’s ability to perform the essential job functions.
Medical Review. The Medical Review Officer shall conduct an in-depth review of all tests reported as positive by the Laboratory. The laboratory report will include all materials specified in part V, F, above. He/she shall review the test subject's Pretest Declaration and shall take such action as may be necessary to examine any alternate medical explanation for a positive test result. Such action may include a voluntary medical interview with the subject and a review of all medical records made available by the subject.
Medical Review. All urinalysis drug test results along with the confidential statement prepared by the employee will be communicated by the laboratory to a specially trained physician serving as Medical Review Officer. The Medical Review Officer will notify the DOC Human Resources Director directly if an employee's test result is negative. If the test result is positive, the Medical Review Officer will contact the employee to discuss the test, to determine if the positive result is valid and to notify the employee that the employee has 72 hours to request a test of the split specimen, if, after making reasonable efforts and documenting those efforts, the Medical Review Officer is unable to reach the employee, the Medical Review Officer shall contact a designated management official, who shall direct the employee to contact the Medical Review Officer within twenty-four (24) hours. The Department will be notified that the employee tested positive or negative. If the test is positive, the identity of the specific drug(s) involved, as well as other information regarding the test, will be disclosed to the Department by the Medical Review Officer.
Medical ReviewThe Company will pay the cost of any medical examination made at its request, for any reason whatsoever, by the doctor of its choice, taking into account the terms and conditions of Article 16.06 insofar as possible.

If an employee is absent from work due to his or her temporary incapacity for a total of twenty (20) or more working days in any twelve (12) month period, Aurora may liaise with and/or obtain written reports from: (a) a registered medical practitioner of the employee’s choice; and/or (b) a registered medical practitioner of Aurora’s choice. 46.6.2. Following the above review, the MRO shall arrive at a decision as to whether the test result was caused by appropriate use of medication or other appropriate medical justification. If such justification exists the test shall be interpreted as negative by the MRO. C. If there is no such medical justification, the MRO shall interpret the test as positive and so document the medical record.
Medical Review. Airgas contracts with a Medical Review Officer (“MRO”) (a health care professional with an expertise in toxicology) who will attempt to contact any individual whose drug test sample is confirmed positive by the laboratory. The MRO will offer the individual an opportunity to discuss, in confidence, any legitimate reasons he or she may have that would explain the positive drug test. If the individual provides an explanation acceptable to the MRO that the positive drug-test result is due to factors other than the consumption of illegal drugs or other prohibited behavior, the MRO will order the positive test result to be disregarded and will report the test as negative. Otherwise, the MRO will verify the test as positive. The MRO may also review test results that are apparently dilute, substituted, or adulterated. Individuals will be provided with a copy of the notice of their own non-negative test results. The MRO will not share information regarding an individual’s use of lawful medications for legitimate reasons except as permitted by DOT regulation (i.e., where the use of a medication may render an individual medically unqualified to perform safety-sensitive work).
Medical Review. 9.1 The appointment of Xxxxx is subject to a satisfactory medical review, to take place with the Hospital's Occupational Health Services within four (4) weeks of her commencement date with the Hospital.
