Register as a Training Agent. The Contractor shall register with the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLi) as a training agent and ensure that all subcontractors who have contracts in the amount of $100,000 or more are registered as training agents before beginning work on the project. However, registration as a training agent in a specific trade is not required if there are no training opportunities in that trade on the Project, based on the maximum ratio allowed by BOLi.

Training programs approved by and registered with BOLI may be used to fulfill training requirements under the Workforce Program specifications. Other training alternatives must be approved by the City’s Compliance Services Manager. Training is intended to be primarily on-the-job training in apprenticeable crafts, and does not include classifications such as flag person, timekeeper, office engineer, estimator, bookkeeper, clerk/typist, fire fighter, or secretary. Hours performed in crafts, which are not apprenticeable occupations are exempt from the training requirements. Exemptions to the training requirements must be approved by the Owner in writing prior to starting work on the project. Written requests for exemptions related to the training requirements will be considered by the Owner only for extreme circumstances during the course of the project and must be approved in writing. All requests to exempt all or any portion of the work on a project shall be submitted to the Owner 14 calendar days before any work on the project begins.   • Consider Operator as School Official The Parties agree that Operator is a “school official” under FERPA and has a legitimate educational interest in personally identifiable information from education records. For purposes of the Service Agreement and this DPA, Operator: (1) provides a service or function for which the LEA would otherwise use employees; (2) is under the direct control of the LEA with respect to the use and maintenance of education records; and

Employees who are appointed from a layoff list to a position with the same salary range from which they were laid off will be paid the amount for which they were compensated when laid off plus any across the board adjustments, including salary survey adjustments, which occurred during the time they were laid off.

  • Deadlines for Providing Insurance Documents after Renewal or Upon Request As set forth herein, certain insurance documents must be provided to the OGS Procurement Services contact identified in the Contract Award Notice after renewal or upon request. This requirement means that the Contractor shall provide the applicable insurance document to OGS as soon as possible but in no event later than the following time periods:  For certificates of insurance: 5 business days  For information on self-insurance or self-retention programs: 15 calendar days  For other requested documentation evidencing coverage: 15 calendar days  For additional insured and waiver of subrogation endorsements: 30 calendar days Notwithstanding the foregoing, if the Contractor shall have promptly requested the insurance documents from its broker or insurer and shall have thereafter diligently taken all steps necessary to obtain such documents from its insurer and submit them to OGS, OGS shall extend the time period for a reasonable period under the circumstances, but in no event shall the extension exceed 30 calendar days.

  • Certification Regarding Entire TIPS Agreement for Part 1 and Part 2 Contracts 5 This is a two part solicitation. Part 1 is solicited for TIPS sales that are not considered a "public work" construction project. Part 1 permits the sale of goods and non-construction/non-"public work" services such as maintenance and minor repairs. Part 2 Job Order Contract (JOC) is solicited for projects considered by your TIPS Member Customers to be a "public work" construction project. The determination of whether or not a TIPS sale amounts to a "public work" construction project requiring a Part 2 JOC contract is made by the TIPS Member Customer at the time of each TIPS sale. Thus, Vendors are encouraged to respond to both Parts 1 and 2 in case your TIPS Member Customers require that a sale be made under one Part or the other. However, responding to both Parts is not required. If Vendor responds and is awarded to both Parts, Vendor will have one contract for Part 1 and a separate contract for Part 2.

  • CALENDAR FOR SUCCESSOR MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING In the event Union or Management desires a successor MOU, said party shall serve upon the other between April 1, 2018 and April 30, 2018, its written proposals for such successor MOU. Meet and confer sessions shall begin no later than thirty (30) calendar days following submittal of the proposals.
