Regular Employment. 13.1 Recognizing the desirability of regular, year-round employment for its employees, the Corporation agrees to provide regular employment for the employees covered by this Agreement, who are in permanent positions and have been in the service of the Corporation for at least six (6) months, and who are not displaced either as a result of the abolition of a position, as the result of disciplinary action, or as the result of the exercise of seniority rights by another employee. 13.2 Regular employment means employment for not less than 2080 hours in each year, or 1950 hours for office employees. Hours made up by paid holidays, leave with pay, disability due to sickness or injury, voluntary absence, absence resulting from disciplinary action, and absence due to fires, floods, strikes or other emergencies, whether like or unlike those enumerated, shall be part of the 2080 or 1950 hours.
