Common use of Regular-Seasonal Clause in Contracts

Regular-Seasonal. 1. A regular-seasonal employee can displace a temporary employee in an equal or lower classification in his/her occupational group within his/her worksite/centre. 2. If 1. above is not available, a regular-seasonal employee can displace an agency employee in an equal or lower classification in his/her occupational group within his/her worksite/centre. 3. If 2. above is not available, employment is terminated. 4. Regular-seasonal employees shall be entitled to recall to temporary positions for a period of three (3) years from the date of last termination. 5. A regular-seasonal employee shall be entitled to recall to their Location, provided they have at least twenty-four (24) months accumulated service. 6. To be recalled the employee must have filed a written request with the Company prior to March 1st of each year. 7. A person who is recalled by the Company shall be personally contacted when possible. Failing this contact a recall notice shall be forwarded by registered mail addressed to the last known address that he/she has recorded with his/her Human Resources Manager. They shall be obliged to advise his/her supervisor of his/her intention to return to work within three
