Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act helps rehabilitated ex-offenders back into work by allowing them not to declare criminal convictions to employers after the rehabilitation period set by the Court has passed and the convictions become ‘spent’. During the rehabilitation period, convictions are referred to as ‘unspent’ convictions and must be declared. Some convictions never become spent.

Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Because of the nature of work which you will be undertaking involves direct contact with people who are receiving a health service, we have been obliged to ask you, in connection with your employment or education establishment, to disclose any convictions you may have. Under the conditions of the above Act, you are not entitled to withhold information about convictions which otherwise might be considered ‘spent’. Failure to disclose such convictions will invalidate this Agreement. A copy for your DBS check must be provided on commencement of this contract.
Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. If the Provider's employees are exempt from Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, by virtue of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exemptions) Order 1975, then the Provider shall ensure that all the Provider's employees shall provide information in accordance with the said Act and Order about convictions which would otherwise be spent under the provisions of the said Act. Where this condition applies the Provider shall disclose to the Council's Representative the names and addresses and sufficient information to enable proper checks to be made and as appropriate all convictions of the Provider's employees. The Council may by notice in writing to the Provider require that any Provider's employees with a conviction cease to be employed as a Provider's Employee, and the Provider shall comply with such requirement immediately.

  • Rehabilitation Act Subrecipient agrees to comply with any federal regulations issued pursuant to compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, (29 U.S.C. 706) which prohibits discrimination against the handicapped in any federally assisted program. County shall provide Subrecipient with any guidelines necessary for compliance with that portion of the regulations in force during the term of this Contract.

  • Rehabilitation The Employer may use the results of the drug and alcohol test to require the employee to successfully complete a rehabilitation plan.

  • Family Medical Leave Act Pursuant to the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, an employee who has been employed at least twelve (12) months and worked at least 1,250 hours during the prior 12-month period is entitled to twelve (12) work weeks of leave during any 12-month period without pay but with group health insurance coverage maintained for one or more of the following reasons:
