NATURE OF WORK. Consultant will provide consulting services as requested by the Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”), but primarily in the areas of sales, new product development, international business development and any other consulting services mutually agreed between the Parties that is determined by the Parties to be beneficial to the Company (the “Services”). Consultant shall provide the Services on a non-exclusive basis, except in the case of consulting services relating to new product development (“Special Services”), and in such case, the Consultant shall provide the Special Services to the Company on an exclusive basis. Consultant shall report to the CEO of the Company and shall provide monthly reports to the CEO outlining the services rendered in the preceding month.

NATURE OF WORK. At all times during the Term, Wonder and Consultant shall have the status of independent contractors. In no event shall Wonder or Consultant be deemed to be an employee of the Company, and neither Wonder nor Consultant shall at any time be entitled to any Company employment rights or benefits except as specifically set forth herein or be deemed to be an agent of the Company or have any power to bind or commit the Company or otherwise act on the Company’s behalf unless expressly authorized to do so in writing by an officer of the Company. Wonder and Consultant shall have the independent authority to determine the means and manner of engaging in the Services within the reasonable guidelines established by the Company.
NATURE OF WORK. An employee in this class performs highly skilled work involving the care and maintenance of the Portland and South Portland radio system. This position includes the use of the municipal mobile radio equipment, portable and systems used at the Portland Regional dispatch center, Portland Public Services and along with Portland and emergency services equipment in South Portland and all related infrastructure.

NATURE OF WORK. Subcontractor has satisfied itself as to the nature and location of the Work, the character, kind and quantity of material to be encountered, the character, kind and quantity of equipment needed, the location, conditions and other matters which can in any manner affect the Work under this Subcontract, and acknowledges that Subcontractor has had a reasonable opportunity to examine the site, all of the Main Contract documents and this Subcontract. Prior to commencing Work, Subcontractor shall examine the site and any surfaces upon which Work is to be performed, and shall notify Contractor in writing of any conditions which might adversely affect its Work; failure to do so will constitute a waiver of entitlement to any additional compensation or contract time arising out of such conditions. This clause shall not be understood to relieve Subcontractor of any additional notice requirements under this Subcontract or the Main Contract.

NATURE OF WORK. The parties understand and agree that work to be performed under this agreement is to be in the public interest, and (1) will not result in the displacement of employed workers or impair existing contracts for services; (2) will be governed by such conditions of employment, including compensation, as will be appropriate and reasonable in light of such factors as type of work performed, geographical region and proficiency of the employee and as mutually agreed by University and Organization; (3) will not involve the construction, operation, or maintenance of any part of a facility used, or to be used, for sectarian instruction or religious worship; and (4) will not involve any partisan or nonpartisan political activity associated with a candidate, or contending faction or group, in an election for public or party office.
NATURE OF WORK. 1.1 Contractor shall conduct, for the benefit of Company, field geophysical data acquisition surveys (the “Surveys” or the “Work”) and related services in search of subsurface geological formations and structures favorable to the accumulation of oil, gas and mineral deposits underlying those land areas designated, from time to time, by Company and accepted by Contractor, all in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement, and the applicable Supplemental Agreement. Contractor, if requested by Company, shall also provide data processing and/or interpretation services of and for the field data (“Data”) so acquired. 1.2 Such Survey(s) shall be conducted by one or more geophysical crews, as may be agreed upon by Contractor and Company, in such a manner and subject to the terms and conditions as set forth herein and in the applicable Supplemental Agreement. If data processing services are requested, such services shall be done in Contractor’s data processing service centers in Midland, Texas; Houston, Texas; or Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 1.3 Nothing herein shall require Company to contract with Contractor or Contractor to accept assignments from Company to conduct Survey(s), except as may be agreed upon, from time to time, in an appropriate Supplemental Agreement.
NATURE OF WORK. This is a civilian position working with the Portland Fire Department’s Fire Prevention division. Highly skilled technically specialized work an employee will be responsible for reviewing, testing and making recommendations to the Fire Prevention Officers on new and existing private alarm system applications. The position will include assisting with code analysis, system inspections and plan review. The employee will be responsible for oversight of the maintenance of the city’s municipal alarm system, including the transition from the present primarily wired system to the newer wireless (AES) system. He/she will work with third party vendors, finance and Fire Alarm through the alarm system application (testing, approval, monitoring and billing). The employee will maintain a database tracking all Fire Alarm box assignments, including box type, location and when necessary contact and billing information. The employee will track all changes in the system including new boxes, relocated boxes and box removals. This position requires an individual that can work effectively independent, with other city departments and outside vendors.
