Reimbursable Travel Expenses When Required to Move. A. Whenever an employee is required to change the employee's place of residence because of a change in assignment or other reasons related to assigned duties, the employee shall be reimbursed for transportation expenses in accord with Section 60.360 of the Alaska Administrative Manual. B. The Employer may authorize the payment of travel and per diem to secure housing prior to the change in duty station. Such authorization, however, may only be made if the change in duty station is at the request of the Employer.
