REINSTATEMENT AFTER LEAVE OF ABSENCE. Upon returning from any leave of absence, the employee shall assume the duties of his/her former position, provided that during the period of absence there has been no change in the employee's capacity to meet the requirements of the position. 8.6.1 If the position occupied by the employee prior to taking a leave of absence is no longer in existence, the employee shall be assigned a position for which he/she is qualified, and he/she shall have bumping and seniority rights in the same manner as if there were a reduction in force.
