Reinstatement to work. As soon as an employee on active duty has a return to work date, s/he must notify the Human Resources Department in writing. The District will reinstate the employee promptly in accordance with applicable law. Employees seeking reinstatement may be asked to provide documentation of the timeliness of the reinstatement request and/or the total time spent in active service (i.e., for periods of service of 181 days or more, application for reemployment must occur within 90 days of release from duty).

  • Reinstatement Rights Reinstatement rights shall automatically cease five (5) years from the date ULA was commenced, and no further rights to reinstatement shall exist unless extended by written mutual consent of the School Board, the licensed teacher, and the union.

  • Modified Work/Return to Work Programs The Hospital and the Union recognize the purpose of modified work/return to work programs, is to provide fair and consistent practices for accommodating nurses who have been ill, injured or permanently disabled, to enable their early and safe return to work. The parties undertake to provide safe and meaningful employment for both permanently or temporarily disabled nurses based on the following principles:
