Release for Incapacity or Incompetence. Subject to clause 31.01, when an employee is released for incapacity, the amount of severance pay on termination of employment shall be one (1) week's pay for each complete year of continuous service with a maximum benefit of twenty-eight (28) weeks' pay. Subject to clause 31.01, when an employee, who has completed ten (10) years of continuous service, is released for incompetence, the amount of severance pay on termination of employment shall be one (1) week’s pay for each complete year of continuous service with a maximum benefit of twenty- eight (28) weeks’ pay.
