Release for Incapacity or Incompetence. 41.5.1 An employee who is released for incapacity shall on termination of his employment be entitled to severance pay on the basis of one (1) week's pay for each complete year of continuous employment with a maximum benefit of twenty-eight (28) weeks, less any period in respect of which the employee was granted severance pay, retiring leave, rehabilitation leave or a cash gratuity in lieu thereof by the Council, the Public Service, a federal crown corporation, the Canadian Armed Forces or the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
