Release Time for Flex Days. 8 The District, consistent with its operational needs, shall continue to provide release 9 time for training for classified employees during Flex Days and/or staff development 10 activities as well as for their participation as presenters in such activities. The Union, 11 in conjunction with the District and Classified Senate, will continue to work together to 12 provide two Classified Flex days per fiscal year. Release time for training for classified 13 employees or for presentations by classified employees during Flex Days and/or staff 14 development activities shall not be arbitrarily denied.

  • Release Time for Interviews Release time will be granted to represented individuals for the purposes of interviewing for positions within the University.

An employee shall not be required to take time off to avoid payment of overtime.
