Posting Period. Vacancies that the University intends to fill shall be posted for a period of seven (7) full working days before the deadline for applications for the position.
Posting Period. The Job Posting shall be posted for a minimum of seven (7) calendar days including the date of the Job Posting. Upon the removal of the Job Posting a selection period of fourteen (14) calendar days will be allowed for the consideration of applications. Requests for an extension to the selection period shall not be arbitrarily or unreasonably withheld by the Union. After the selection period the Union and Employees will be advised through the appropriate notice the name(s) of the successful applicant(s) or a statement to the effect that there were no successful applicants or that there were no applications received. The said notice shall be posted for a period of seven (7) calendar days.

All vacancies in the bargaining unit will be posted internally on the appropriate bulletin boards and College Website for a minimum seven (7) day period provided that there are no qualified employees on layoff. The vacancy may be posted externally, however external candidates will only be considered if there are no qualified internal candidates.

Any vacancies created between August 5 and August 10 will be posted until August 10 and any postings after August 10 need only be for one (1) day.

A notice of any vacancy in the Bargaining Unit shall be posted on the University Bulletin Board for a minimum period of five (5) working days. If the University is unable to fill a position within ninety (90) calendar days it will notify the Association as to the reason why.
