Religious Day in Lieu. An Employee who is entitled to time off with pay in lieu of Good Friday, Easter Monday, Christmas and/or Boxing Day pursuant to Article 18.03 (c), 18.05 (a) (ii) and/or 18.06 (a) (ii) may take such time with pay in lieu at a time that permits her to observe a holy day of her own faith. The Employee shall advise her immediate management supervisor in writing of her desire to take such day(s) off in lieu as soon as possible but before March 1st in each year and the immediate management supervisor will endeavour to grant the request where operational requirements permit.
