Removal of Functions from Bargaining Unit. Should the Employer determine that a function or functions performed by a registered nurse should be removed from or transferred outside of the bargaining unit, the Employer will be responsible for submitting the proposal to all members of the AURN/Management Cooperative Committee as set forth in Section 27.2 to provide them an opportunity for review and comment. Within thirty (30) days of receipt of the proposal, the Association’s representatives on the committee may call a meeting of the entire committee to present comments and recommendations on behalf of the represented employees. A function or functions performed by a registered nurse shall only be removed from or transferred outside the bargaining unit by mutual agreement of the Association and the Employer.
