Renewable Energy Plan. If you are purchasing our Renewable Energy Plan pursuant to this Agreement, you are agreeing to purchase from Direct Energy a product that is supported 100% by renewable energy credits (“RECs”), in an amount sufficient to match your annual consumption from your EDC. RECs are a tradeable, non-tangible energy commodity in the United States that represents proof that 1 megawatt-hour (MWh) of electricity was generated from an eligible renewable energy resource like biomass, hydro, solar or wind. Direct Energy will purchase and retire renewable energy certificates in either the state where you are located, the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) region, Independent System Operator (ISO), Regional Transmission Organization (RTO) or Balancing Authority Area of the customer being served, at any time and from time to time throughout the year. The electricity supply actually distributed to your service location will not contain electricity supply generated from any specific electric generation facility. The availability of electric generation facilities varies hour to hour, and from season to season, as does electricity use by customers. Direct Energy may take up to three (3) months following the close of a calendar year to make up any deficiency in the volume of renewable energy certificates needed from particular generation facilities associated with your Renewable Energy Plan.
Renewable Energy Plan. If you select a “Renewable” or “Green” Product Plan pursuant to this Agreement, you are agreeing to purchase from Think a product supported 100% by renewable energy credits (RECs). Think will purchase and retire RECs in an amount equal to your consumption during the renewable term, which may be procured by national sources allowed by applicable law. The electricity actually delivered to your service location will not come from a specific renewable electric generation facility. Think will purchase RECs generated in the same calendar year as your electricity usage and retire them in a regional generation attribute system. Think may take up to 3 months after the end of each calendar year under which this Agreement is in effect to address any deficiency that may arise in the renewable energy content of electricity sold under this Agreement in the previous calendar year.
Renewable Energy Plan. If you select a “Renewable” or “Green” Product Plan pursuant to this Agreement, you are agreeing to purchase from the Company a product supported 100% by renewable energy credits (RECs). The Company will purchase and retire RECs in an amount equal to your consumption during the renewable term, which will be procured from national renewable generation sources. The Company will purchase and retire RECs to meet the D.C. RPS in accordance with applicable law. Above the required number of RECs to meet the D.C. RPS, the Company will purchase and retire RECs from national sources, which may include sources outside of D.C. and outside of the PJM region. The electricity actually delivered to your service location will not come from a specific electric generation facility.
Renewable Energy Plan. If you select a “Renewable” or “Green” Product Plan pursuant to this Agreement, you are agreeing to purchase from Think a product supported 100% by renewable energy credits (RECs). Each REC represents proof that electricity was generated from an eligible renewable energy resource such as wind, solar, hydro, or biomass. Think will purchase and retire RECs in an amount equal to your electricity usage. Think will purchase RECs generated in the same calendar year as your electricity usage in order to support the development and operation of renewable energy generation, and “retire” them in a regional generation attribute system. The amount of RECs purchased will be above what Think is required to purchase to comply with New Jersey’s Renewable Portfolio Standards. The electricity actually delivered to your service location will not come from a specific renewable electric generation facility.
Renewable Energy Plan. You are agreeing to purchase from Sunrise a product that is supported by RECs, in an amount sufficient to match your annual consumption from your EDC. Sunrise will purchase RECs and retire renewable energy certificates of your purchased renewable energy source either in Pennsylvania (for Renewable Energy Plans specifying Pennsylvania renewable components) or anywhere else in the United States (for other renewable energy plans) at any time and from time to time throughout the year. The electricity supply distributed to your service location will not contain electricity supply generated from any specific electric generation facility. The availability of electric generation facilities varies hour to hour, and from season to season, as does electricity use by customers. Sunrise may take up to three (3) months following the close of a compliance year to make up any deficiency in the volume of renewable energy certificates needed from generation facilities associated with your Renewable Energy Plan.

  • Electric Storage Resources Developer interconnecting an electric storage resource shall establish an operating range in Appendix C of its LGIA that specifies a minimum state of charge and a maximum state of charge between which the electric storage resource will be required to provide primary frequency response consistent with the conditions set forth in Articles 9.5.5, 9.5.5.1, 9.5.5.2, and 9.5.5.3 of this Agreement. Appendix C shall specify whether the operating range is static or dynamic, and shall consider (1) the expected magnitude of frequency deviations in the interconnection; (2) the expected duration that system frequency will remain outside of the deadband parameter in the interconnection; (3) the expected incidence of frequency deviations outside of the deadband parameter in the interconnection; (4) the physical capabilities of the electric storage resource; (5) operational limitations of the electric storage resources due to manufacturer specification; and (6) any other relevant factors agreed to by the NYISO, Connecting Transmission Owner, and Developer. If the operating range is dynamic, then Appendix C must establish how frequently the operating range will be reevaluated and the factors that may be considered during its reevaluation. Developer’s electric storage resource is required to provide timely and sustained primary frequency response consistent with Article 9.5.5.2 of this Agreement when it is online and dispatched to inject electricity to the New York State Transmission System and/or receive electricity from the New York State Transmission System. This excludes circumstances when the electric storage resource is not dispatched to inject electricity to the New York State Transmission System and/or dispatched to receive electricity from the New York State Transmission System. If Developer’s electric storage resource is charging at the time of a frequency deviation outside of its deadband parameter, it is to increase (for over-frequency deviations) or decrease (for under-frequency deviations) the rate at which it is charging in accordance with its droop parameter. Developer’s electric storage resource is not required to change from charging to discharging, or vice versa, unless the response necessitated by the droop and deadband settings requires it to do so and it is technically capable of making such a transition.
