Reply by Employee. The employee shall make and deliver to the Chief of the Department a written reply to such request indicating that s/he will not begin or has terminated such outside employment within twenty-four (24) hours of his/her receipt of the notice from the Chief of the Department.

Reply by Employee. The employee and his/her Union representative shall make and deliver to the Chief of the Department a written reply to such request within twenty-four (24) hours of its receipt. Such reply shall inform the Chief of the Department either of the employee’s acquiescence in the request or his/her desire to place the matter in arbitration.
