Common use of Report-Back Pay Clause in Contracts

Report-Back Pay. When a full-time bargaining unit member is ordered by the Chief of Police or designee to report back to work after termination of their regular work schedule and the member reports, the member shall be credited with a minimum of four (4) hours service. Such time will be paid at one and one-half the bargaining unit member’s regular hourly rate, if it places them in an overtime status. This provision is not applicable to work that is a continuation of or immediately preceding the regular work schedule or supervisory staff meetings called by the Chief of Police or designee.
