Common use of Reporting and Certification of Absences Clause in Contracts

Reporting and Certification of Absences. a) All absences for sick leave must be reported to the employee’s immediate Supervisor or designate, and the automated reporting system, b) Under extenuating circumstances, the Executive Officer, Human Resources Services or designate may request an employee to submit a certificate from a qualified medical or dental practitioner for an absence or sick leave. The cost of the certificate will be paid in full by the Board.
