In so far as possible, an employee shall notify his/her supervisor or designated contact person no later than the start of the employee’s work day, of any absence due to illness or injury. If unit procedures require a designated contact person, the Judiciary shall provide name(s) of individuals to be contacted and an alternate method of communication if designated individual(s) are not available.
