Common use of Representative of Canadian Union Clause in Contracts

Representative of Canadian Union. A National Representative of the Union may discuss any matter with an employee on the premises during working hours PROVIDED the Representative does not take up more than five (5) minutes of an employee's paid time in any day AND PROVIDED ALWAYS that the National Representative reports their presence to the Senior Management Representative available before entering the working area.

A shop committee, the number to be decided by the Union, shall be elected by the Union a manner determined by them and the Corporation shall be kept informed by the Union of the personnel of this Committee.
