Right to Have Union Representative Present (a) An employee shall have the right to have her xxxxxxx present at any discussion with supervisory personnel which the employee believes might be the basis of disciplinary action. Where a supervisor intends to interview an employee for disciplinary purposes, the supervisor shall make every effort to notify the employee in advance of the purpose of the interview in order that the employee may contact his/her xxxxxxx, providing that this does not result in an undue delay of the appropriate action being taken. This Article shall not apply to those discussions that are of an operational nature. (b) A xxxxxxx shall have the right to consult with a Staff Representative of the Union and to have a local Union Representative present at any discussion with supervisory personnel which the xxxxxxx believes might be the basis of disciplinary action against the xxxxxxx, providing that this does not result in an undue delay of the appropriate action being taken.
Representative The employee or School Board may be represented during any step of the procedure by any person or agent designated by such party to act in his behalf.
Representative Access (A) The state agrees that designated Union Representatives shall have access to state controlled premises where employees are employed. (B) If any area of the state’s premises is otherwise restricted to the public, permission must be requested to enter such area and such permission shall not be unreasonably denied. Union Representative Visits The Union shall inform the Employer in advance whenever the designated representatives of the Union intend to visit the Employer’s premises for the purpose of conducting Union business. Reasonable accommodation will be made to allow the Presidents of the Unions to have access to union members to conduct union business.
Authorized Representatives No amendment of this Agreement shall be effective unless by written instrument duly executed by the Parties’ authorized representatives.
