Common use of Required Extended Service Clause in Contracts

Required Extended Service. 1. Extended service days shall continue to be granted to those instructors awarded contracts prior to July 1, 1998, at the teacher’s rate of pay for the standard work day. 2. Eight (8) days of extended service for new teachers working toward licensure will be granted once, and only once, in the first or second year of in-service. This language applies only as set forth in A.1. above.
