Research and Educational Use. M.I.T. retains the right on behalf of itself and all other non-profit research institutions to practice under the PATENT RIGHTS for research, teaching, and educational purposes.
Research and Educational Use. THE PARTIES retain the right on behalf of themselves and all other non-profit research institutes to make, use and practice the PATENT RIGHTS for research, teaching, and educational purposes. THE PARTIES shall also have the right to make available to not-for-profit scientific institutions and non-commercial researchers materials covered under the PATENT RIGHTS, solely for non-commercial scientific and research purposes.
Research and Educational Use. M.I.T. retains the right on behalf of itself and all other non-profit research institutes to use the MATERIAL, PROGENY, and UNMODIFIED DERIVATIVES for research, teaching, and educational purposes, including in corporate sponsored research projects. In addition, M.I.T. retains the unrestricted right to distribute MATERIAL, PROGENY, and UNMODIFIED DERIVATIVES to academic and not-for-profit research institutes for their research, teaching and educational purposes, including in corporate sponsored research projects. M.I.T. retains the right to grant non-exclusive licenses to the MATERIAL, PROGENY, and UNMODIFIED DERIVATIVES without any rights accruing to COMPANY.
Research and Educational Use. M.I.T., WXXXXXXXX, HARVARD and HOSPITAL retain the right on behalf of themselves to practice under the PATENT RIGHTS for research, teaching, and educational purposes. In addition, M.I.T., WXXXXXXXX, HARVARD and HOSPITAL retain the right on behalf of all other non-profit research institutions to practice under the PATENT RIGHTS for non commercial research, teaching, and educational purposes only.
Research and Educational Use. Salk reserves a royalty-free, non-exclusive right, on behalf of itself and all other non-profit research institutions, to practice and have practiced under the Licensed Patent Rights and to use the Technical Information for research, teaching, and educational purposes. Licensee agrees that, notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, it has no right to enforce the Licensed Patent Rights against any such institution. Salk and any such other institution have the right to publish any information included in the Licensed Patent Rights and Technical Information.

ALSTDI retains the right on behalf of itself and all non-profit, non-commercial or governmental entities to make, use, perform and practice the subject matter described, claimed or included in the Licensed IP for research, teaching and educational purposes, including within the Field.
