Research Results. These should give an overview of the main direct results obtained as a consequence of the research carried out during the training period. It may include publications, conference, workshop attendance, courses, and /or seminar presentations, patents etc. This will vary according to the area of research and the type of results most common to each field. The information at this level should be relatively general since the career development plan does not strictly constitute a report on the scientific results achieved.
Research Results. Sponsor shall have the right to use Research Results disclosed to Sponsor in records and reports for any reasonable purpose. Sponsor shall need to obtain a license to use Research Results from Penn if such use would infringe any copyright or any claim of a patent application or issued patent owned by Penn, except to the extent such license is granted pursuant to this Agreement or any other agreement between the Parties.

11.3 In the event that Company wishes to Implement any Research Results that are, in whole or in part, owned by University, the Parties shall consult with each other and discuss the terms and conditions of the license, including any license fee or royalty payable by Company to University in connection with such Implementation.

With regard to all research results obtained from the Research (hereinafter referred to as the “Research Results”), TOHOKU and RECIPIENT shall determine through separate consultation the right to acquire intellectual property rights for the Research Results and the attribution of rights, equity, filing method, and other terms and conditions relating to such intellectual property rights.

Research Results. 22.1 Each party may disclose, announce or publicly release the Research Result obtained through the Cooperative Research (or if the period for such a research continues for more than one year, the Research Result obtained in the relevant fiscal year) (the “Public Release of Research Result”) two months after the date immediately following the completion of the Cooperative Research (or if the period for such a research continues for more than one year, two months after the date immediately following the end of each fiscal year), complying with the duty of confidentiality pursuant to Article 21; provided, however, that in the light of social mission of universities the University may conduct publicly release the Public Release of Research Result earlier with the Company’s prior consent, which the Company may not unreasonably withhold. 22.2 In the case of Article 22.1, a party who desires the Public Release of Research Result (the “Releasing Party”) shall notify the other party in writing of the contents of such release no later than sixty (60) days prior to the scheduled day of the Public Release of Research Result. Also, the Releasing Party may indicate with the other party’s prior written consent that the content was obtained as a result of the Cooperative Research.
22.3 If the other party who received such a notice pursuant to Article 22.2 considers that the content of the notification under Article 22.2 is likely to harm any of its interests expected to be realized in the future, the party shall notify the Releasing Party, within thirty (30) days after the receipt of such notification, in writing of the modifications of the technical information which will be disclosed, announced or publicly released, and the Releasing Party shall fully discuss with the other party. The Releasing Party shall not, without the consent of the other party, release any part that the other party has considered is likely to harm any of its interests expected to be realized in the future by releasing any Research Result; provided, however, that the other party shall not unreasonably withhold such consent.
