Common use of Resignation and/or Retirement Clause in Contracts

Resignation and/or Retirement. Employee may resign and/or retire from District service at any time with written notice of the effective date of Employee’s resignation or retirement. Upon notice of resignation or retirement and to the extent permitted by law, Employee shall facilitate the least disruptive transition in order to timely complete District projects currently in progress and assist a new Division Chief in assuming office.
