Resignation from a Position. A bargaining unit member may resign from a position to accept appointment to another position in the classified service by submitting written notice to the member's first (1st) level supervisor outside the bargaining unit. A member may withdraw such resignation at any time prior to its effective date unless an appointment to the position has been made.
