Resignations and Notice of Intent to Leave. A professional librarian member resigning from the University shall give as much notice as possible, preferably not less than three (3) months. The resignation shall take effect on a date mutually agreed upon by the member and the University.

Professional librarian members retiring from the University shall give as much notice as possible and not less than three (3) months. Retirements shall take effect on June 30 or December 31 or on a date mutually agreed upon by the professional librarian member and the University.
