Rest Days. 6.1 Employees will be assigned two consecutive rest days in each seven-day period except where unforeseen operational requirements do not allow. In establishing positions, preference shall be given to Saturday and Sunday, and then to Sunday and Monday. In the event that rest days are changed or cannot be established the Company will be required to provide the affected employees and the local chairperson with hours advance notice in writing. It shall be incumbent upon the Company to show that such departure is necessary to meet operational requirements.

Rest Days. 6.1 7.1 Employees will shall be assigned granted two consecutive rest days in each seven-day period except calendar week which will begin on Sunday and end the following Saturday. Such rest days shall be consecutive unless otherwise required to meet the demands of the service.
7.2 At locations where unforeseen operational requirements do 5 employees or less are employed, rest days may be staggered to meet the demands of the service with the proviso that at locations where only two or three employees are employed, such employees may not allowbe granted the same rest days.

Rest Days. 6.1 10.01 Employees will be assigned two consecutive regular rest days in each seven-day period except where unforeseen operational requirements do not allow. Rest days shall as far as practicable be consecutive.
10.02 In the event that one of an employee’s rest days falls on one of the holidays specified in Article 11.01, he or she shall be governed by Article 11.02 as if he or she had been required to work on such rest day.
