Common use of Rest Days Clause in Contracts

Rest Days. (1) Unless otherwise agreed and/or subject to operational requirements, each employee will be allowed two whole consecutive rest days off in each week. (2) Provided that in lieu of two whole days off in each week, an employee may be allowed in each fortnightly period either one day off in one week and three consecutive days off in the other week or four consecutive days off. (3) Provided further that two consecutive days off, one at the end of one week and one at the beginning of the following week may be counted as meeting the requirements of this clause.
