Common use of Rest Period on Overtime Clause in Contracts

Rest Period on Overtime. Employees will be entitled to at least ten (10) consecutive hours off duty between their finishing time (including overtime) of their shift and before the commencement of their ordinary hours on their following shift. Provided that eight (8) hours may be substituted for ten (10) where there is agreement between the Employer and the Employee.
