Freezer Allowance. Employees that satisfy the conditions of Clause 4.5: Industry Conditions, shall be entitled to a Freezer Allowance in accordance with Appendix B: Allowances.
Freezer Allowance. 29.1. The employer shall pay all employees (permanent, part-time, casual and fixed term employees) who work in the freezer chamber an allowance for work done in the freezer chamber. 29.2. For each hour of overtime worked the freezer allowance shall be paid. This is a flat hourly allowance and is not multiplied by the overtime penalty rate. 29.3. The freezer allowance shall be paid for all purposes of the agreement, with overtime being paid as per clause 29.

Freezer Allowance. Employees whose duties involve entry into the employer’s deep freeze (minus 15oC and below) installations will receive a freezer allowance in respect of each day on which such duties are performed. Such payment to be monitored and authorised by the supervisor involved.

Freezer Allowance. Where an employee is engaged to work in a cold chamber in which the temperature is set at or below 0ºC the following additional allowance shall be paid with respect to each hour or part thereof during which the employee is so employed: From the date of lodgement of this Agreement From the first pay period on or after 1st May 2009 From the first pay period on or after 1st May 2010 Where the employee is required to work in such a cold chamber for a period longer than two hours, the employee shall be entitled to a rest break of 20 minutes during every period of two hours, without loss of pay, while so employed. The rest break prescribed by this Clause may be scheduled such that it is taken concurrently with other breaks prescribed by this Agreement.
