Restoration of Hours. In the event the Employer increases the number FTEs in a work area on other than a temporary basis, employees working in that classification in the work area, at a reduced FTE under section 16.7, shall, in the order of seniority be assigned the additional FTE hours up to their FTE before the reduction, if the employee is working on the same shift as the additional hours and the assignment is consistent with scheduling requirements. If the employee rejects the assignment, the employee will not be entitled to the benefit of this provision thereafter.
