Common use of Retention of Discipline Clause in Contracts

Retention of Discipline. Written reprimands and records of verbal reprimands that are more than one (1) year old and records of suspensions that are more than five (5) years old shall be expunged from an employee’s personnel file, providing there has been no subsequent discipline action during such period.
