RETIREE MEDICAL BENEFITS COMMITTEE. 241. The City and the Union agree that it is in the interests of the public and all City employees that sufficient funds be made available for the payment of the retiree medical benefits provided by the City Charter. As of January 2007, the City has an obligation to report its unfunded liability for retiree medical benefits, as required by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board. In recognition of these facts, the Union and City agree to participate in a City-wide Retiree Health Benefits Committee to study and make recommendations regarding funding of retiree health benefits.

APPENDIX A THE CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO AND AUTOMOTIVE MACHINISTS, LOCAL 1414 PAST PRACTICES The following rules cover all shop and field personnel covered by the collective bargaining agreement: MEAL PERIOD, CLEAN-UP, AND BREAKS The unpaid meal period shall be thirty (30) minutes. Each covered employee shall be provided with a ten (10) minute clean-up time prior to the meal period and a ten (10) minute clean-up time prior to the end of a shift. Rest periods shall be one (1) fifteen minute break approximately mid-morning and one (1) fifteen minute break approximately two (2) hours after lunch or at approximately the sixth (6th) hour into the shift.

  • Retiree Medical Benefits If Executive is or would become fifty-five (55) or older and Executive's age and service equal sixty-five (65) and Executive has at least five (5) years of service with the Company within two (2) years of Change in Control, Executive is eligible for retiree medical benefits (as such are determined immediately prior to Change in Control). Executive is eligible to commence receiving such retiree medical benefits based on the terms and conditions of the applicable plans in effect immediately prior to the Change in Control.

  • Joint Benefits Committee In order to achieve benefit cost reductions, or at a minimum, cost containment, the parties agree to establish and aggressively participate in a Joint Benefits Committee. The parties agree that the Joint Benefits Committee shall explore all potential options or changes that could generate cost reductions to the Benefit Plans with the following order of priorities:

  • Benefits Committee As per LOA#10, a benefits committee comprised of the employee representatives and the employer representatives, including the Crown, shall convene upon request to address all matters that may arise in the operation of the OSSTF ELHT.

  • Benefits Advisory Committee The Board agrees to establish a Benefits Advisory Committee to provide stakeholder input into maintaining quality and affordable benefits. The focus of this committee shall be to:

  • Medical Benefits The Company shall reimburse the Employee for the cost of the Employee's group health, vision and dental plan coverage in effect until the end of the Termination Period. The Employee may use this payment, as well as any other payment made under this Section 6, for such continuation coverage or for any other purpose. To the extent the Employee pays the cost of such coverage, and the cost of such coverage is not deductible as a medical expense by the Employee, the Company shall "gross-up" the amount of such reimbursement for all taxes payable by the Employee on the amount of such reimbursement and the amount of such gross-up.

  • Retiree Medical Employee shall be eligible for lifetime medical coverage, upon retirement, subject to the monthly payment limit of the Kaiser Plan premium amount for an employee and spouse. Eligibility for lifetime medical is subject to the Employee completing five (5) years of continuous service at the level of Department Head or above and retiring from the City of Fontana as an annuitant of the Public employees Retirement System (PERS). Employee shall cease to be eligible for lifetime medical coverage paid by the City if the Employee reinstates as an active member of PERS or otherwise fails to meet the PERS definition of an annuitant.

  • Retirement Plans In connection with the individual retirement accounts, simplified employee pension plans, rollover individual retirement plans, educational IRAs and XXXX individual retirement accounts (“XXX Plans”), 403(b) Plans and money purchase and profit sharing plans (collectively, the “Retirement Plans”) within the meaning of Section 408 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”) sponsored by a Fund for which contributions of the Fund’s shareholders (the “Participants”) are invested solely in Shares of the Fund, JHSS shall provide the following administrative services:

  • RETIREE HEALTH SAVINGS PLAN Effective, December 24, 2006, or as soon as administratively possible, the County shall establish a retiree health savings plan (RHSP) by contributing an amount of $25.00 to the employee’s RHSP each biweekly pay period.

  • Retiree Health Benefits 1. There is currently in effect a retiree health benefit program for retired members of LACERS under LAAC Division 4, Chapter 11. All covered employees who are members of LACERS, regardless of retirement tier, shall contribute to LACERS four percent (4%) of their pre-tax compensation earnable toward vested retiree health benefits as provided by this program. The retiree health benefit available under this program is a vested benefit for all covered employees who make this contribution, including employees enrolled in LACERS Tier 3.

  • EMPLOYEE-MANAGEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE 33.01 (a) An Employee-Management Advisory Committee (EMAC) shall be established within three (3) months of the signing of the Collective Agreement. The Union Representative shall provide the names of up to three (3) elected Employees and the Employer shall provide the names of up to three (3) appointed representatives to sit on the EMAC.
