Health Benefits Committee. A Health Benefits Committee, consisting of members selected by the District, CSEA and CVSTA unit members shall research health provider options that offer more competitive rates to all District employees while maintaining the same level of benefits and options.
Health Benefits Committee. The District agrees to participate in a health benefits committee. The parties shall develop a side letter of agreement regarding this committee following discussions with all interested parties on how it would work. The language of the side letter shall be developed by mutual agreement.
Health Benefits Committee. A. IAFF Local 20 agrees to participate in a Joint Insurance Committee and to adhere to Committee recommendations of cost-saving administration of benefits suggestions made by the committee.
B. The parties agree to meet and discuss regarding the increase in premium cost for the purpose of discussing alternatives to maintain cost, including, but not limited to, alternate insurance coverage, and alternate means of providing coverage. The Union recognizes the right of the Employer to secure alternate insurance carriers and to modify insurance coverage, which measures may be used to maintain or reduce premium costs.
C. The parties agree that the City may periodically change the insurance plan and/or the insurance carrier after discussions with representatives of the affected bargaining units.
Health Benefits Committee. The Agency agrees to convene a joint health benefits committee for the purposes of reviewing all facets of the health benefits programs provided for employees of the Agency. The goal of this committee is finding high quality benefits while containing benefit cost increases. The committee shall be comprised of three (3) members selected by the Agency and three (3) members selected by CSEA. The committee shall meet at least once annually, unless an alternative schedule is mutually agreed upon in writing.
Health Benefits Committee. From time to time, the District convenes a committee to study health and welfare benefits and make recommendations regarding changes in such benefits. Whenever such a committee is convened, the membership shall include, but not be limited to, a Union member. The committee shall be chaired by a District manager and shall meet at least quarterly.
Health Benefits Committee. A. OAPSE and the Board of Education agree to participate in a district-wide committee to study and develop recommendations designed to cause the health benefits program to become more cost efficient without reducing services or benefits. This committee will include equal representation from the Ohio Association of Public School Employees, the Berea Federation of Teachers and the Administration. This committee will be ongoing during the life of this negotiated agreement.
B. This committee will meet as needed and will include, but not be limited in its studies to the following areas: • Developing an understanding of the health benefits program. • Identifying, developing and implementing various options to reduce the costs associated with the program which do not affect the schedule of benefits located in the Appendix of this contract. • Developing strategies which, if implemented, will reduce the costs within the program. • Implement a quarterly health care report relative to the BCSD health care programs.
C. The OAPSE members on the committee will be empowered to make decisions regarding the development of the committee's recommendations regarding the health benefits program.
D. Wellness Program as required by Ohio Revised Code The Ohio Association of Public School Employees (OAPSE) members on the committee will be empowered to make decisions regarding the development of the committee’s recommendations regarding the medical benefits program. These recommendations will be reviewed by the BCSD union presidents group to determine if they are to be voted on by the members of each of the bargaining units. If the recommendations are contrary to provisions of this contract, then following ratification by the OAPSE membership and the Board, the committee’s recommendations will be written up in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding.
Health Benefits Committee. The parties agree to explore the establishment of an exploratory cross bargaining group committee to identify possible alternative health care options. (Note: This requires the agreement of all bargaining unit groups.)
Health Benefits Committee. A health benefits committee will be formed as a subcommittee of the conference committee no later than April 30, 2010, with the purpose of reviewing and exploring health benefit options. The committee shall include employee and employer representatives and may include a Union representative. Available alternatives that may be considered include the current trust, self-insured coverage, PEBB state plan and other options. After a timely review, the committee may make recommendations to management.
Health Benefits Committee. California School Employees Association Chapter 436 shall select one representative to serve on a health insurance committee. Health Benefits Committee. 1. Membership: A Health Benefits Committee shall be established consisting of representatives of all employee groups within the County Office of Education. Each employee group choosing to participate shall select two (2) representatives to serve on the Committee.
