Returning to Work After Sickness Absence Sample Clauses

Returning to Work After Sickness Absence. By virtue of the fact that a block operator may be temporarily holding their shift, a regular operator must communicate prior to 11:00 hours on the day preceding their expected date of return and this communication must be made on a day other than the off days associated with their shift. If they communicate after 11:00 hours of such day, they shall report to the Dispatchers who may assign them such work as is available and which commences no earlier than 1 hour prior to the time they normally would have begun their shift and/or ends no later than one hour after the time they normally would have completed their shift. In any event, the operator shall receive a minimum of one day's pay for such work.
