RIGHTS OF TEACHER. A. JUST CAUSE Teachers shall not be disciplined, reprimanded, reduced in rank or compensation or discharged without just cause. Any such action asserted by the Board, or any agent or representative thereof, shall not be in the presence of others, including but not limited to teachers, parents and/or students, shall be subject to the grievance procedure herein set forth. All information forming the basis for disciplinary action shall be made available to the teacher and the Association.

  • RIGHTS OF THE UNION Section 4.1. The Union has the right and responsibility to represent the interests of all employees in the unit; to present its views to the District on matters of concern, either orally or in writing; and to enter collective negotiations with the object of reaching an agreement applicable to all employees within the bargaining unit.
