Such use agrees that such activities shall not interfere with District operationsthe normal work duties of the employees. However, the Board agrees to provide for the release of employees from their normal duties to meet privately with the representative for no more than thirty (30) minutes, so long as that employee's work responsibilities can be covered without the hiring of a substitute.
4.4.1 Upon return from such leave, 5.02 The Board recognizes the employee will be returned to the position previously held.
4.4.2 All seniority rights for such employee shall be retained and accrued.
Section 4.5 The names of employees in the respective unit will be made available to the President right of the Union upon requestto designate one member of the unit as a Grievance Chairperson and one member as an alternate Grievance Chairperson. On or before The alternate Chairperson shall assume the first day duties of October the Chairperson when he/she is absent from work for cause. All duties of each year the Chairperson and alternate shall be carried out during their non-duty hours.
5.03 The Union will be accorded the term privileges of this Agreement, use of meeting space in school buildings with the District following restraints: Arrangements for use of the space shall provide be approved and scheduled with the building principal 24 hours in advance; use is restricted to general membership meetings; rooms shall not be used later than 10:00 P.M.; meetings shall not be held more than once per month. The Board may require the Union with information regarding each employee to pay any additional cost involved in such use which shall be made known at the bargaining unit on a form to time of the request for building use. However, additional costs which cannot be provided projected by the Union. Upon request Board because of negligence, abuse, over-extended use or other unforeseen events resulting from the information shall be supplemented and revised quarterly. Employee information given to use of the buildings by the Union shall be used solely for the purpose responsibility of union businessthe Union.

5.07 The OAPSE Local delegate, alternate or officer has the right to use six (6) days (i.e., three (3) days each) to attend the OAPSE annual delegate conference or attend other meetings or hearings for the purpose Local or School District as required with no loss in pay; or, at their hourly rate of grievance procedures and/or general information data. This excludes recruitment during working hours. The union representative shall notify pay if outside of their contract day if requested and approved by the Superintendent or his/her immediate supervisor and the building office (for employees assigned to a school site regularly or for the day) before leaving the assigned worksite and shall notify the building office upon arrival. Thirty (30) additional copies will be provided the Union within thirty (30) days of the ratification of this Agreement.

Prior notification of absence for union conferences must be made by the employee with the Human Resources Department. Separate arrangements will be made with the immediate supervisor to deal with work coverage during the absence and/or make up of the work. If substitutes are necessary, the Union shall be granted charged the cost of a replacement substitute for each day the affected employee is absent. Five (5) additional days will be provided for the AFT Renton Local 6367 Leadership to use for direct work with the designated representative administration of the contract or bargaining unit.
4.6 On or before the fifteenth (15th) day of October, and each month thereafter, the District shall provide the Union to visit employees with computer run information regarding each employee in the unit for the purpose of grievance procedures and/or general information databargaining unit.
