Road Management. (a) For the purposes of the Road Management Act 2004 (Vic) the body of Participants are the "works manager" and the "infrastructure manager" for the performance of the Works. (b) The Participants must perform and satisfy the obligations placed upon a works manager and infrastructure manager by the Road Management Act 2004 (Vic). In particular the Participants must: (1) install and conduct works applying good engineering practice and relevant industry standards; (2) comply with any requirements in relation to the safety of road users and with section 99A of the Road Safety Act; (3) if practicable, avoid excavating or breaking the surface of the roadway, and where it is necessary to do so, minimise the inconvenience to road users and reinstate the roadway to its pre-works state; (4) give notice of proposed works to the relevant coordinating road authority and to any other infrastructure or works manager which could be affected by the performance of the Works; (5) consult occupiers, or owners or other persons who are likely to be significantly affected by the performance of the Works; (6) obtain consent to the performance of the Works from the relevant road authority in certain circumstances; (7) take all reasonable measures to minimise disruption to traffic, to ensure the safety of works for road users and adjoining property and to make adequate provision for people with disabilities; and (8) reinstate the road as promptly as practicable after completion of the Works, as nearly as is reasonably practicable to an equivalent standard of quality and design and so as to ensure that any feature to assist persons with a disability is restored. (c) In performing functions and obligations as a works manager and infrastructure manager the Participants acknowledge and accept that the primary purpose of a road is use by members of the public and authorised uses must be managed as far as is reasonably practicable in such a way as to minimise any adverse impacts on the primary purpose so as to: (1) minimise any damage to roads and Road Infrastructure; (2) ensure that any Works necessary for the provision of non-road infrastructure are conducted as quickly as practicable; (3) minimise any disruption to road users; (4) minimise any risk to the safety and property of road users and the public generally; (5) facilitate the design and installation of infrastructure which minimises any risk to the safety of road users; (6) ensure that the road and any other infrastructure is r...
Road Management. From time to time, the Association shall appoint one or more managers (each a "Road Manager"), who shall be responsible for managing Road Maintenance, including monitoring the condition of the road surface and initiating maintenance activities as needed to maintain the minimal road surface standards. Each Road Manager must be a Property Owner and shall be elected from time to time by a majority of the Property Owners, to serve a term as agreed to by the Property Owners, or until the earlier resignation or removal of the Road Manager. The Road Manager(s) may, on behalf of the Association, employ or engage employees or agents and contract for such services, labor and materials, as the Road Manager(s) deem reasonably necessary to operate and maintain Hogtrap Road.
Road Management. The purpose of the Road Management Measures is to reduce sediment delivery into watercourses from road sources, including surface erosion from roads, road-related landslides, and watercourse crossing failures (washouts and diversions). In general, chronic surface erosion delivers sediment every winter, whether or not there are any large storms. Sediment delivery from chronic road erosion is generally greatest on roads that are used during the winter, and where ditches are connected to watercourses. Newly constructed roads also exhibit increased risk of surface erosion for the first several years following construction. Sediment delivery from road-related landslides and watercourse crossing failures are episodic in nature, are linked to large storm events, and deliver relatively large quantities of sediment to watercourse channels. The risk is typically greatest on old or abandoned roads with undersized culverts that are not properly maintained. The Road Management Measures address sediment delivery in two primary ways: 1) through an accelerated schedule of road decommissioning and upgrading; and 2) through the systematic application of standards for the construction, management, and use of roads and related facilities. The measures will be implemented concurrent with the road-related sediment delivery assessments described under “Effectiveness Monitoring” and will be revised as appropriate based on monitoring results. Measures include but are not limited to:

  • Stormwater Management a) The Owner AGREES to implement the requirements incorporated in the Draft Plan Conditions attached as Schedule “F” and any reports submitted to Kawartha Region Conservation Authority and the City pertaining to: i) pre and post development run-off flows and water balance calculations, and the intended means of conveying stormwater flow from each Lot, Block and the entire proposed Plan of Subdivision; ii) the anticipated impact of the Plan of Subdivision on water quality and phosphorus control, as it relates to fish and fish habitat once adequate protective measures have been taken; iii) the means whereby erosion and sedimentation and their effects will be minimized on the site during and after construction; iv) the site soil conditions, including grain size distribution profiles; v) a site grading plan. b) The Owner AGREES to erect and maintain all stormwater management and erosion and sedimentation control structures operating and in good repair during the construction period, in a manner satisfactory to Kawartha Region Conservation Authority and the City. c) Prior to the execution of this Agreement, the Owner AGREES to confirm to the City that Conservation Authority has reviewed and approved the stormwater management report and plan, erosion and sedimentation plan, and final Lot Grading Plans as required under this Section. a) UPGRADES TO EXISTING STORM SEWER b) UPGRADES TO EXISTING SANITARY SEWER

  • SITE MANAGEMENT We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to: (1) monitor the Site for violations of these Terms of Use; (2) take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates the law or these Terms of Use, including without limitation, reporting such user to law enforcement authorities; (3) in our sole discretion and without limitation, refuse, restrict access to, limit the availability of, or disable (to the extent technologically feasible) any of your Contributions or any portion thereof; (4) in our sole discretion and without limitation, notice, or liability, to remove from the Site or otherwise disable all files and content that are excessive in size or are in any way burdensome to our systems; and (5) otherwise manage the Site in a manner designed to protect our rights and property and to facilitate the proper functioning of the Site.

  • Patch Management All workstations, laptops and other systems that process and/or 20 store PHI COUNTY discloses to CONTRACTOR or CONTRACTOR creates, receives, maintains, or 21 transmits on behalf of COUNTY must have critical security patches applied, with system reboot if 22 necessary. There must be a documented patch management process which determines installation 23 timeframe based on risk assessment and vendor recommendations. At a maximum, all applicable 24 patches must be installed within thirty (30) calendar or business days of vendor release. Applications 25 and systems that cannot be patched due to operational reasons must have compensatory controls 26 implemented to minimize risk, where possible.
