Role of Seniority in Layoff. In the event of a layoff, employees shall be laid off with as much notice as possible, but no less than 15 calendar days advance notice by classification in the reverse order of seniority, providing those retained are qualified to perform designated work functions. In the event of Acts of God or emergencies, no notice is required.
