Common use of Room and Board Allowance Clause in Contracts

Room and Board Allowance. Employees who are sent out of town overnight shall be paid a room and board allowance sufficient to obtain reasonable accommodation, plus three (3) meals per day and transportation costs. Expense money to cover same, shall be paid in advance by the employer. The employee is to furnish receipts for all expenses to his employer when so requested.
